Family Day Care Inclusion Network Meeting

Family Day Care hosted an Inclusion Network Meeting with our Educators and KU Children Services.

We shared the roll out of Behaviour Management PD discussing strategies to support children with regulating their emotions and interacting within the learning environments to support their learning, development and social play with their peers.

The PD also assisted FDC educators to feel more confident in implementing various play-based strategies with individual children.

We also discussed the introduction of Personal Support Plan with Educators.

The plans will be used to document the support strategies the educators will implement with individual children. It also documents partnerships between the family, educators and children’s allied health and/or support networks, seeing that all stakeholders are working together at to achieve best results for children!
